Thank you! Having that much done is huge motivation to finish. It was stuck around 4,000 for a looong time, and it didn't bother me much. If I left it at 20K, I'd think about it all the time.

Passed 20,000 words on my novel! This was huge to me, and I'm so happy I'm still enjoying it. I want it to be at least 50,000, so that's a good chunk. Especially since I don't have a ton of extra time these days and will have even less soon.

Nah, I like that kind of stuff. I'm sure I'll keep enjoying it.

Going to finish Philip Pullman's The Golden Compass today. It's pretty terrific. Vividly realized world with an excellent protagonist. I look forward the rest of the series, which I will read sometime later this year.
