Ha, it was.  But I like to imagine that was how Sherlock really thinks of himself.  He's like a grandiose, melodramatic little boy in so many ways.

We'll watch it again this summer.

@avclub-2bc89f96d5af36cd7c598b934297491f:disqus She can't, though!  Those stars were stuck on there.

You haven't seen how mean this dean can… bean.

It is true that the original Irene Adler's profession and relations with men were pretty sexy-scandalous.  Being on the stage meant something different for women back then, as did being "a well-known adventuress."

Hm.  I think you'll be better off getting introduced to this version of Moriarty before you start Series 2.  If nothing else, watch episode 103, "The Great Game" first if you can.

Yeah, I thought "The Blind Banker" was pretty dire, though it had some fun moments (e.g., Sherlock creepily shamming normal to be let into an apartment building; Sherlock manhandling John to try to get him to visually recall the graffiti John had taken a photo of).

Yes.  This was the very beginning of the shooting script for "The Blind Banker":

"So many of the episodes follow the same formula"

This is a movie with a message in it, and the message is: LOOK OUT.

@Scrawler2:disqus Y-y-yuh-yeah, they have! Ww-walter White is a *great* dad!

@avclub-7fe30f83b8e5444c948077a061740793:disqus A Jewish girl, no less!

@avclub-a93a879594c13c12a83fd45ab289a022:disqus But… that looks the least like a bee of any of them….

It isn't obvious that there's a difference between works of fiction that explore the deviancy of sexually objectifying children and actually sexually objectifying children?

Ummm… Hamlet didn't say that.  That… "Polonius" guy did.

Girlie, as far as you're concerned, I'm the MESSIAH of the DMV.

"You look good!"

\/\/ hatever.  I'm outtie.

I prefer Larry Miller as a dad in "Best in Show."
