Yeah. While I loved Pratt as Starlord, I really really would have loved to see what Dennis would have done with that role.

I really, really hope Chris Pratt is a good enough dude to back away from this movie.

What about The Big Hit? (Also, love your Goon profile pic.)

Exactly. Upvoting yourself is pretty much the same thing as masturbating in public.

Bad job, internet! Go to your room and think about what you did.

Has anyone called you out, yet, for your habit of upvoting yourself? It's really gross.

All EU stuff, including the Old Republic games, are now non-canon.

The problem with the EU, like all "genre" work, is that it's extremely inconsistent and dependent on the author writing it…though I suppose that's actually true of all art, not just "genre" literature. Also, the Emperor *did* die, he just had clones to whom he could transfer his soul.

You've obviously never managed a restaurant. Heyo!

By that same reasoning, however, what's wrong with being a septic repairman? That's the whole thing that bugs me about this: restaurant manager isn't *that* prestigious a job, nor does it make appreciably more (in fact often less) than a "dirty job" like septic repairman can make, yet it's presented as being a huge,

Yeah, but I'd wager that most people doing septic or sewer work make at least as much as most restaurant managers. Dirty jobs like that tend to pay pretty damn well, and restaurant management doesn't exactly pay a fortune. Now, granted, I haven't seen the movie, so maybe he was doing under-the-table handyman work,

Glad to hear this is decent. Ellie Kemper was, in my opinion, one of the best things about the later seasons of the Office, so I really want this to be good.

No comment about the fact that being a restaurant manager isn't exactly a lofty career? Or was this a really, really nice restaurant?

Good point. That's kind of what I actually meant to say (he was either an asshole or utterly bland), but I didn't express it at all. Thanks for pointing that out!

I agree 100% with Barsanti. I never really cared much for Cap, because he was usually such a dick swinging, flag waving asshole. But Chris Evans' portrayal really won me over and showed what (in my opinion, at least) Cap is actually supposed to be about. He was an encapsulation of the lofty ideals of America,

Glad someone mentioned/posted that, otherwise I would have had to do so myself.

I do believe you win "Most Depressing Comment of the Day."

Politeness?
