Wait, wait, now I've got it. A live-action Ghost in the Shell movie, set in a futuristic Los Angeles and directed by Ridley Scott.

A Takashi Miike remake of The Big Sleep?

He doesn't know it, though. It's a unique peek into the duality of a serial killer's mind.

@Anywhere sort of Battle Royale meets Chinatown?

I love it here…

I'm kind of busy right now with all this internet porn.

"Hypervitaminosis, a toxic reaction to an overdose of Vitamin A, its severity heightened by the absence of Vitamins C and E, is acquired by eating the liver of a polar bear or bearded seal."

The Anarchist Cookbook
It's not fiction, but some of the instructions in it are. Hint: do not make your own explosives.

Terry Pratchett is great, and I'm all for social breakdowns accompanied by good-natured British violence and petty crime.

Because when that day comes, a team of deep-sea drillers trained as astronauts…

If we're going to treat this with absolute seriousness…
I've read a lot of books on the Holocaust (Jewish kid, it happens) and I've talked to a survivor or two. Human beings are capable of surviving anything, undergoing anything and enduring, beyond hope, beyond any reason for it. People don't make a conscious decision

Never eat the liver of a polar bear. It drives men mad.

"More than any other zombie/apocalypse story I've seen/read in a long time, those issues were filled with characters (mostly) behaving rationally and cautiously in response to their predicament."

Never enjoyed the Stan Lee stuff, and I'm surprised others did.
Now that Mr. Zsasz, that's my kind of gimmick poster. Plus I don't want to get on his bad side.

Killing a man with a pair of loafers
Really enjoyed the action beats tonight. This show hasn't always been the best when it comes to action sequences but watching Archer create havoc in Moscow was awesome.

"Smell that."
"What am I smelling, Barry?"
"Nothing yet. But you wait."

The boys upstairs think this one's too big for you!

Yeah, what differentiates Barry from the oddball cast at Odin is he seems like a reserved, buttoned-down professional who takes his job seriously… But lurking just underneath that is a special brand of tightly-coiled insanity.
I felt bad for him too though.

I enjoyed tonight's show. Not every episode has to be an ensemble.
Agent Gillette is voiced by showrunner Adam Reed, by the way.

I'll give two to one she dies saving Archer's life next week.
