I love weed, like-a-lot the podcast and Doug's albums, but I just couldn't get behind this movie. It was clearly trying to find the line between humorous and informative, and ended up being neither. If I'm not stoned, trying to watch it just makes me wanna smoke; if I am, I'd rather watch the Sopranos.
I've only been scrolling through the comments for the Community references
I like to think of myself as somebody with low self-esteem and little-to-no backbone, and even I must say that this is fairly cravenly behavior… I mean, as long as no one objects to me saying so; I don't want to ruffle any feathers.
So, he's bad, then? I only know him from those VH1 reminiscing shows, and he always made me laugh during them. But, I was 12 when I watched those, so I'm unsure whether I should dedicate those MB's from any given torrent site.
ASAP's value as an emcee comes more from his flow than lyrical content. He's not a god on the mic, but he floats over every one of these beats.
I got my appendix taken out over the summer, and I came to during the first leg of a two-day Adventure Time marathon. Normally, the show is just some shit for the chillrens. But, with morphine and anesthesia doing the Harlem Shake up and down my bloodstream, I found the show to be a deeply hilarious and poignant…
Is it crazy? Or are you just a liar of Day 1 deception?
Honestly, at this point, one of the best things the show could do for itself is get one of those hosts you mentioned. They all have comedy instincts and distinctive comedic personalities that the writers could draw from, so the episode(s) might possess some sort of consistent quality. Plus, having a guy like Louis CK…
Some front-to-backers that haven't been mentioned:
"Party Over," the closer to The Infamous. That shit sounds like Ganondorf ghostriding the Death Star through the sewers. If there was ever a song tailor-made for stabbings, it's "Party Over." And what is the purpose of Mobb Deep if not to provide soundtracks for intense, close-range violence?
This is one of the weaker releases of the year in the genre, especially considering the hype around it (not exactly an intense buzz, but he's still all over the rap blogs). This is the first showing from the revamped Shady records, and it doesn't give me much hope for the Slaughterhouse record (speaking of: the remix…
It's like you guys are putting on a play!!
He was already on Sesame Street
But the fact you'd admit as much is, frankly, shocking
Wow. I had never heard of this movie once in my life until a minute (and some change) ago. Now my heart is aflame with desire. Thanks?

Good news everyone!
I agree that he sucks, and hate him even more now that he is attempting to rap.
Dr. Dre Lifechangers is set to air the week after Detox drops. When you watch it, a lot of the ads will probably be for the Party Down movie.
