I didn't think so. I guess it depends on how you define "every real issue". It's not Philadelphia. The focus is more on the lack of availability of effective treatments in the US at the time, and the desperate measures that people went to in order to stay alive.

Buck Satan is one of those things I'd been hearing rumors about since the early '90s. When the album finally came out it was like the Red Sox winning the World Series (i.e. something I was pretty sure I would never live long enough to see).

Curious - did people not think Dallas Buyers Club was one of the best movies of the year, or did they/you just not see it? Freaking amazing performances by McConaughey and Leto. The idea that American Hustle was considered a better film is causing me great agitation.
