In the next verse I always think "intestines" instead of "intentions".

I'm across the continent from my family Christmas drama as well, so I can relate a bit on that level this morning. It sounds like your father's primary role in his relationship with your mother has been teetering between helper and enabler for a while now (esp. if her depression is rooted in such a prolonged

Djshe and I buy each other random stuff all year. This year for Christmas we decided to limit ourselves to $20 for gifts to each other (I got her a snazzy apron - she asked for it - and some cute little Japanese animal erasers; she's still asleep so I don't know what she got me yet), and then the rest of the money

Kyuss - "Allen's Wrench"
Fugazi - "Bed for the Scraping (live)"
DJ Krush - "Interlude" (skipped)
Public Enemy - "Hazy Shade of Criminal"
Henry Rollins - "Television" (skipped)
Hot Hot Heat - "You Owe Me An I.O.U."
Beethoven - "9. Symphony, 4. Movement" (from A Clockwork Orange OST)

If I play through and click to play again, when I get to the mineral level the second time through I get a black square and an endless music loop. Fun though.

I may have to check this band out when they come through town…but it's on a Wednesday night and I'm an old man, so we'll see how that all plays out. At any rate, here's this (MP3 @192kpbs):

They have a fight, shovel wins, shovel man. *plays accordian*

Don't go getting my hopes up with this "this film is not yet rated" crap.

Half-man, half-man, half-man's chamber
Half-man, half-man, half-man's chamber
Half-man, half-man, half-man's chamber
WHERE DO THE WHORES GO?

The best quote I've seen on this came from @thetweetofgod on Twitter:

Congrats - that was adorable. (Yeahbitch.)

Liked for the whole thing, but particularly the transition from NIN to Enya.

We get a half day on Christmas Eve and the full days for Christmas and New Year's Day, but other than that the office is open…which is stupid, because the vast majority of our customers AND the people at our "parent" company that we need to work with to get anything major done are all on vacation until January.

Future of the Left - "I Don't Know What You Ketamine (But I Think I Love You)"
Gorillaz - "19-2000"
Mike Ladd - "To the Moon's Contractor"
Space Ghost Coast to Coast - "Baloney Sandwich" (skipped)
Billy Joel - "Goodnight Saigon"
Motörhead - "Whorehouse Blues"

By the way, Joseph Arthur's 2012 double album Redemption City is available for pay-what-you-want download at NoiseTrade:

That acceptance speech was arguably the coolest thing Metallica has done in the last 20+ years.

Usually I'd make an MP3 and post a link, but this is just hot garbage. I might get around to it by this weekend, but it will involve me playing this entire performance a second time, which I have no desire to do.

Merry Christmas, Argyle.

I didn't think this could suck more, but I was wrong.
