It's so good. I read it again a few months ago and got sad all over again about Douglas Adams dying so young.

But I can come for a visit, right? (I'm currently saving wildly for a trip to Scotland and England next year, which would be my first.)

I went to see it in the theater when they brought it back for one night. I will always watch this movie.

My Canadian citizenship application went back to Canada (for the third time!) a few weeks ago, and I'm hoping everything is there and they can process it.

There's a story in Last Chance to See (by Douglas Adams) where a French guy in a previous century got bit by a Komodo dragon and he died like two years later - his leg never healed where he was bitten.

I thought the football thing was kind of cool because I've actually been to Catania. Never thought I'd hear something about it on tv.

Wasn't she the one who guessed John for the second king of that name? I mean, she knows a lot of stuff, but when she's wrong, she's like as wrong as she could be.

Oh, I forgot she answered John! Which was egregiously incorrect.

Not being able to come up with Henry for DD3 was ridiculous. Of course, I'm talking from the standpoint of being a history major and having an interest in British history specifically. Still … no excuses!

I waited about 45 minutes to do my early voting the other day at 4 pm on a Friday. It seemed ridiculous.

The amount of time I spent waiting in line to vote both at the primaries and then Friday to vote early, I would have loved if someone came by selling drinks and snacks.

I was thinking that I may have watched it live but I don't remember it, but then I realized I may have been in Sicily that year and I'm not altogether sure we had a TV there.

I read that twice and I still don't know what point they were trying to make.

Yes! I agree - she shouldn't have gotten the opportunity to add to it, not in Double Jeopardy.

Ha, joke's on you - I don't have any cats!

Man, I hated that book.

I was extremely saddened by her death. No more Amelia, or Emerson, or Ramses.

I'm a big fan of Ruth Rendell's police procedurals about DCI (?) Wexford. I think the other books she writes as Ruth Rendell, and the books by Vine, are a little more in line with this list.

Well, not that part!

Oh, I guess I should have read more before mentioning Earth Girls Are Easy.
