Might be fooling Aiden. Yes, that is far-fetched.

The first couple episodes were sort of table-setting. I enjoyed them well enough, but they were kind of formulaic and boring compared to what followed. I guess we are in this for very different reasons.

Revenge has always been an "overly soapy, convoluted mess". If anything, it's getting less convoluted now.
The writers are lazy, because they don't end the show at this point?

I am troubled that you got the most likes out of all the comments so far, although you entirely missed what Kumagoro has pointed out.

Henry Nightingale. Ben Woodstock.

No…it's part of the episode. I am talking about this line: "What does 'Go to the bathroom and get my lunch money.' mean?"
Then they both start laughing.

Yeah, his lines in the car immediately sounded as if he made them up as he went along. Very strange intonation. Fumbled with his glasses like he never put them on before. Plus, he rhymed…twice. Like this:
"I don't chase leads, I write reports that nobody reads."
"Confidential from the FBI? Nice try."

Different lips, different nose…whole face is different "somehow". I can't even say why. Not to mention the body (ok, doesn't matter).

So "merit some optimism" translates to B+? I will never understand your grading. The most recent TWD episode is the only one I know of that your review ever matched a grade. Good review that one, by the way.

As do I. There's this moment at the end of episode 2 which seems like it might have been bloopers they left in. It was weird.

I quite like it, but how obvious is it that Rade Serbedzija ordered Luther to kill Evan? Come on. Even if it were not already apparent by casting, we just had a show doing the same thing. Another one probably nobody but myself was watching.

They look nothing alike and more importantly Radha Mitchell is a much better actress.

You are right. I somehow read it as "billed" by the fans.

That's the second one within almost a week…stop the cruelty!

Well, it does indirectly.
I made the connection in the comment I just posted. However, Personally, I think that it's more about the characters and how they react to the stories surrounding them than just the stories. The article at some point seems to focus on stories over plot, rather than characters, as the headline

I have always been more interested in stories (well, characters, really) than in plot. I won't lie, though…an unusual premise can draw me to a show more easily than something normal. The stories around that premise are largely the same as for the more conventional shows. But the special premise and/or setting (like in

Buffy was far from being serious without Xander, though. Which is why he somtimes could have the opposite effect and become grating. I think the character was pretty divisive for Buffy fans.

Stop speaking for everyone. I never liked Chloe…especially not after that. Too obvious they were trying to make her popular.

Stupid Piece Of Dumb Shit (most-agonizingly terrible dumb shit, ever)? *shrugs*

Ever heard about ARGs?
That's what this feels like. An ARG gone really bad.
