Just accept the fact that this episode doesn't fit into the SPN canon in any way.

"Yeah, I did not like this plot development. We spent how many episodes with their maternal grandfather?"
That's because the maternal grandfather is a better fit, since he is a hunter just like his daughter aka Mary Winchester was. A fact that I am not sure this episode remembered. It's disturbing that they didn't even

My first three thoughts on this: Buffy, SG1, La Femme Nikita

You are forgiven, though. That's the point at which I was pretty close to give it up. I just liked Torv too much and I couldn't imagine that an Abrams show is going to stick to procedural routine for too long.

I think you are missing the point. (Reading the threads here you are in good company, I guess.)

Well, it wasn't just the car that exploded, I think.

Snow sprayed the camera inside the elevator (ok, not really fast enough) and the 21st floor probably doesn't have any.

People (regularly) reading reviews of television shows are not part of the casual audiece by definition, I would say.

No, you are not. It should be part of the job to spell names correctly.

This episode wasn't better or worse than those preceding it, if you ask me.
I think the point was that there was a "real" killer, something you couldn't possibly have guessed until late into the episode.

Well, that would be a good excuse, but no…I just switched it up.

I take it you are talking about the MS Paint Adventures? It's an interactive comic.
That stuff is insane. And you would have to read the earlier comics to get all the callbacks used in Homestuck. I stopped after the Intermission in Homestuck.

As for the weirdest thing I have seen: Phantom Boogiepop.

I don't think so. You will want a break from the myth arc from time to time. The mixture is just about right the way it is. Except maybe for the last two or three seasons when the myth arc takes over and gets muddled.
But hey, I love the entire run. And I didn't watch it in the 90's.

Not only did I fail to notice this actress (although I had seen her before), but I also managed to forget about the in medias res opening…and was therefore saying "Oh, yeah…now I remember." when she tasered him.

I do not agree. Then again, straight down hair doesn't do it for me. Looks like a curtain. *shrugs* (Yes, I actually liked Olivia Dunham with the ponytail.)
On top of that, I am apparently not crazily attracted to Lucy Liu. However, I agree that they pick nice outfits for her.
