That face made me nervous. That's his Rolodex face!

I had the very same reaction; Abigail's scenes with Will and Hannibal were so absorbing that I totally lost track of the time.

Not necessarily everything in Hannibal Rising. Just the fact that he had a sister. Fuller & Co. have played fast and loose with some of the canon already (Miriam as Clarice, Miriam finding the Wound Man instead of Will) to great effect, so I trust them to improve on the abortions that were Hannibal and Hannibal Rising.

Hm, I read downthread that he actually is trying to incorporate some of Heald's mannerisms, so looks like I'm just oblivious.

I disagree that Raul Esparza is mimicking Anthony Heald's performance as Chilton. I like both performances, but Heald's is by far more mannered to me.

It was risky, but on the other hand, it's not like Gideon would have been a credible witness if he'd lived to talk.

And, as in the book of Job, Go(o)d is being rather a jackass.

I believe Chorostecki has stated explicitly in interviews that she's playing Freddie as a stone-cold sociopath. So, yeah, not an acting problem.

Am I wrong to think that he'll have to create some sort of cover story regarding Sutcliffe's MRIs? I'm sure it'll be mentioned that Will had some recent brain scans with a neurologist that Hannibal recommended & consulted with — how will he account for the "normal" results? Put everything on Sutcliffe, like, "OMG, my

I agree with your first impression. Regarding Sutcliffe, I'd add that not only had Hannibal gotten what he needed from him, but allowing him to live would have been a liability. Even if the surgeon had been full-blown evil & on board with lying to Will indefinitely, Hannibal couldn't expose himself to maybe being

I also liked the "oh, come on" eyeroll she did when she realized the roof was leaking.

Awesome. I'm loving this show.

Yeah, I'm glad we're past poor Kitty Genovese. Such an ugly story.

I'm looking forward to trying some recipes (grapefruit guacamole!) , but I just can't fully respect someone who doesn't need mayo in his life.

Dude, when's Chilton showing up again? I loved Raul Esparza in the role, even more than I love (to hate) the character to begin with.

FX I think would be the better match. Double header with American Horror Story. Except that might be too much gorgeous grue for one night to handle.

They can't make her Meereen plot line interesting (though it improves exponentially once she leaves & Barristan ends up in charge). The best they can hope for is not to completely assassinate the character. Which means they should keep George R.R. Martin far away from the scripts for those episodes.

I can't decide whether Cudlitz or Arkin had the best scene in Grosse Pointe Blank. They both have a lifetime's worth of good will from me based on their work in that film alone. Not that either one of them needs it.

Lee Paxton: YET ANOTHER man who would benefit from reading Peter's Evil Overlord List.

This is such a lovely eulogy. Probably helps that the subject was so irrepressible and delightful.
