I fell in love with Woody Allen when I saw Bullets Over Broadway and Manhattan Murder Mystery when he was having a bit of a good run during the 90s. So then I sought out Annie Hall and Manhattan on VHS when that was still the thing (and I loved them both)

.
i quite liked the original series when i would catch the occasional rerun.

completely in sync with the rest of the entertainment industry. it's like walking in to a pop culture supermarket and having several versions of cola flavoured soft drink to choose from. cola flavoured soft drinks being shows about sexy teenagers.

Peanuts is pretty sophisticated and intellectual for what it is

oh charlie brown, you make me so mad.
the 3eanuts article got me on a Peanuts nostalgia cycle, I even posted the exquisite Beethoven sequence from A Boy Named Charlie Brown on my facebook profile

Marcie had a crush on Charlie Brown too. She refered to him as "Charles".

Sydney is the largest city in Australia, one of the largest in the Southern Hemisphere and our bottle shops (liquor stores) close at midnight, but usually earlier.

me. i'm 26, technically gen y, and yet my childhood was filled with generation x memories.

Parenthood is really good. There's no mind blowing plot twists - it's just a family doing its own thing - but that's partly the reason why it's so good. The characters interact with each other like they're people and not stock tropes on a TV show.

Lux was van Dyke
i'm not one for celebrity crushes usually, but i've been desperately in love with Dick van Dyke since I was a little girl. There's just something about a cockney chimney sweep, i don't know…

i just wanted to express how much I have enjoyed reading this thread.

She's more scared of you than you are of her.
You're thinkin of bears, mom.

ok i've finished making sandwiches and rubbing lotion on my cans so thought i would weigh in with my opinion.

but this movie was already 50 years old when we watched it as kids and we were also being raised on GI Joe and My Little Pony and everything else that people thought was rotting our brains. and i LOVED the wizard of oz, it was my favourite movie.

why did she do it?? to create confusion!! it worked.
yes, yes, Y.E.S.!!! i thought maybe Clue would be too old for new cult canon but i am so glad to see it hear. it's the movie i've probably rewatched more than any other in my whole life and i will love it til my dying day. i think the script, while not necessarily

let David Cronenberg take over the Alien franchise

except the robot
