YOU'RE gonna get a newspaper! YOU'RE gonna get a newspaper! ….YOU'RE gonna get a newspaper!

    Aw man
    Of course there's video.

Wait, I'm sorry - "It's me your father! But with the face of your MOTHER! And the hand of a bear. And you gotta fight meee!"
    There, much funnier.

HOPPING MAD! No, to each his own.
Speaking of CDR, how dependably hi-larious is Andy Daly?
"It's me! It's me your father! But I have the hand of a bear. And in the other hand is a knife! And you gotta fight meeeee!"

I was listening to his podcast yesterday and wondering why he hasn't yet permanently toppled the wall between 'great stand up' and 'TV guy.' He is so funny all the damn time everywhere he goes.
And this is a good premise. DO IT PAUL!

Somebody up there put a link to The Brazilian - a song which I had no memory of despite owning and listening to Invisible Touch regularly.
    It's awesome.

Every time I watch this movie I look up reviews. To all future review-trolls who are frustrated and looking for answers:

@Rich - incredibly, that was a SLAM against I Get Wet and not a ringing endorsement. The review was something like a .1

"AllMusic is the score you gloss over on wikipedia when you're searching for the Pitchfork one."

Allmusic is - no offense to all other critic websites - the best, most thorough and (Atilla review not withstanding) least mean-spirited home of music criticism. If this change alters any of that, I'll probably buy fewer new albums. That site exposed me to every worthwhile release from so many artists. Isley Bros

    @Supernaut - Sweet Leaf?

    Also, Limbs is great!

    Hijack!

So this is the second go-round for Shock Corridor from Criterion, right? Do they do that because this newly appended doc is super crucial, or are they just in it for the piles of money?

Well I don't think I WAS saying it was fresh, but now that you mention it calling Ricky Gervais Joan Rivers does seem a little fresh. …a little too fresh.

Smith paraphrase: "I didn't want this film's release to be an unnecessary financial failure due to means beyond my control. The means to correct this problem also happened to have provided a creative boost. I would like to draw the attention of this fact to a shadowy organization known only as 'they.'

I don't think he comes off too dickish in this, I think the parenthetical asides are getting to you. This is sort of the Radiohead DIY thing except he's actively claiming it to be a game-changer, and is also giving nothing away. apart from that, same thing.

Like, I'll never listen to NEWS and I'll never see Jersey Girl. Metaphor concluded.

I'm a fan of him like I'm a fan of Prince. More miss than hit, but the hits are what I remember.
