the truth
But when you leave the comments open, then there's this flood of stupid remarks from people who don't add anything.

I promise…Dosage sounds nothing like their other stuff - abitous even. The whole album has a texture to it that was pretty unique, and "unique" is probably not the first word that comes to mind when people think of collective soul…

I think it begins when you realize that if you shave everyday, you can easily spend $30 a month on fucking razors. And when the choice is between beer money and money to not look like a homeless person, I almost always choose beer.

Collective Soul
For some reason, I have found myself in more conversations (of both the real and online variety) lately about Collective Soul than I should reasonably expect. In every one of these conversations, I try to defend Dosage (but not always the rest of their stuff), the album that apparently no one liked,

"fuck everyting, we're going to five blades!"

Hey, you know what is REALLY cool?
The new three-most-recent-headlines-being-on-the-front-page-format and the login button on the left bar!

I'm not your woman, guy. (I am a dude, though)

A lesson for the kids
So I've been fairly excited about this for a while. I never thought that I'd live walking distance from a cool record store with nice, helpful people working in it in Oklahoma City, of all places.

Yeah, but your comment didn't mention anything about who you would or would not want to have sex with…

Umm, I really meant to say "link," not, "kink." Sorry.

I don't know if anyone else had problems following that kink, but I did, so:

I'm So, so sorry…
1000th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interpol
Interpol is my go-to reference for this phenomenon.

I'll second that - have fun.

My wife and I thought that leaving the video camera out to show off for Jim would totally be something Michael would do.

That's a shame…
I was kind of hoping this was going to be really good.

I was 9 in '91. I was probably listening to one of my dad's King Crimson records he'd put on when my mom went to the store…

I know, I know
Has anyone else seen the review this got over at Pitchfork today? Jesus fucking christ, that was the first review I've read on their site for almost a year now, and now that my day is ruined because I'm so irritated, I remember why I stopped.

"At the Stars" is a good Ezra song, too.

I still think that Dosage was a really good album. Or at least really interesting.
