I wholeheartedly agree. I've been listening to this streaming from npr and I def prefer midnight organ fight. man that album was the tits. this one is good though. I'd say a respectable, solid B unless it really grows on me

I always really really liked blur. I thought their Modern Life is Rubbish-Parklife- Great Escape trio was very kinks-ian in subject matter. That said, I liked the direction they went with their last 3 albums a little better. The guitar part in Trimm Trabb gets me every single time

the last half of this album reminds me of The Good the Bad and the Queen… it seems much mellower with much more Albarn than previous Gorillaz stuff. I like it though, I think it's the most complete album the Gorillaz have done even if all tracks aren't spectacular. Rhinestone Eyes is freakin awesome as is Pirate Jet.
