It's been so long, I don't know how I'd respond to a Whedon show going into season 3.

I don't exactly remember what happened on the Mindy Project two weeks ago, but I do remember my response being, "Nope, we're done."

I understand why everybody thinks they're right.  I fully understand why people are saying $0.0003 is different from 0.0003¢.  What seems to be the issue is not everybody understands why they are wrong.  I will grant that 0.0003 dollars is different that 0.0003 pennies. That is obvious and mathematically provable.

I'm not sure exactly what you mean by "ten for every one hundred", but yes, 10 out of 100 is 10 percent.  I don't really see how that is relevant to my point, but there you go.

Yes, and the quarter says "Quarter-Dollar" and the Half-Dollar says "Half-Dollar".  That's because all of those denominations are based on the dollar.  One cent is one percent of a dollar.  It is not its own currency.  It is not to be used as a basis for calulating currency.  The only reason the penny doesn't say "one

That's correct.  In this case, it's the % that is causing confusion.  The appropriate way to express a half a percent would be 0.005.  However, the key difference is the percent symbol still has a significant mathematical meaning.  "Cents" does not.  "Cents" is nothing more than slang.  In the case of Verizon, the

You certainly can measure things in milligrams, and when I say 0.25 milligrams, it is correctly expressed and means something, because a milligram is a legitimate unit of measurement.
