Did you miss the part where they were SAYING ALL THE SAME THINGS JUST IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE? Because it seems like you missed the part where they were SAYING ALL THE SAME THINGS JUST IN A DIFFERENT LANGUAGE.

THROW IT IN THE BIN, IAN!
I’ll try my best to unpack this here. I’m a trans woman (there are a handful of us commenting here) and a mixed race POC (unless being black mixed with white with a caramel complexion doesn’t count as POC), so here’s me taking a stab!
Well, at least I know I can write off 75% of you asshole commenters as transphobic fuckwads.
I just commented this on a transphobic post that was all like, “In a sexual species, females have two X chromosomes and males have an X and a Y, I’m not a bigot it’s just science.” I’m a science teacher so I responded with this.
If there’s any need for evidence that feminism still has quite a ways to go to become truly intersectional, one should look no further than this comment section. TERFs abound, more interested in the oppression olympics than liberating one another.
“It’s got nothing to do with whether or not it’s reversable, it’s the emotional strain and changes this kind of thing enforces on a still malliable mind, they’ll never be ‘psychologically settled’ again even if the do change it back.”
Gender identity is different from other decisions that young people make. Given that many trans youth commit/attempt suicide because they are prevented from expressing their identity, I would think that it’s healthier to let them decide.
No, the name I was born with is MY fucking name. It is on my birth certificate, my license, my credit cards, my email address, the deed to my house, and all of my diplomas/degrees. My brother was given the same last name as I was in the exact same way. Would you tell my brother that his last name is not his, it is our…
Why is it “your father’s name” for women but not for men? If that’s your argument, nobody has their own name.
But...you could say that about any name then, that my father’s name isn’t really his but his dad’s name.
It must be nice to be the only person doing feminism right.
I really feel like it’d be inappropriate to consider a SCOTUS nominee in the middle of the campaign like this. We should really wait until the election and let the voice of the American people be heard.
Why is everyone being so mysterious about this shampoo brand? Call it by its name already!
That conditioner is amazing and works as well as something 6x the price. Plus both the shampoo and conditioner smell so good!
Robin uses cheap shampoo for being so hair obsessed.
You know that moment we all had when we found out Trump was winning and the sudden realization that everything was about to change just punched us in the gut?
On second thought maybe Hillary Clinton would have made a better president. I have spoken.
That number is way more than the $12-15 billion estimate that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell cited in January and double the estimated $10 billion that Trump himself stated.
Talk, over eggs, about their vaginas, or talk about their vaginas over eggs?
