I think that in some respects Ragnarok will be the best Marvel film yet. These films tend to shine when you give the creative team a general guideline and then let them run wild within the defined rules. They struck gold with Civil War, GotG, now Ragnarok, and soon Black Panther.

And this is why LoT is becoming the best of the lot. S1 was hot garbage, but they took a look at the show and said, “Wait… what if Doctor Who was about perpetual fuckups?” And they made that show. And it’s amazing.

The hate some people have for these things only makes me love them all the more.

Actually, this flashed through my head (pun not intended)

Each of the Arrowverse shows is good at asking certain kinds of questions about the characters and their worlds. I’m hoping this “Flash Reborn” sets us up for asking the right questions:

“Love how Marvel let Taika Waititi make a movie that’s Waititi-ish as hell.”

“Same reason as to why Star Trek: Discovery is on Netflix everywhere else except in the US, where it’s on CBS newly launched All Access.”

“But Canada is dominated by their version of Comcast.”

If only they had a wheelbarrow - now that would be something.
