At least in my experience, the end credits of a movie or tv show can often also be an important part of the movie/show’s artistic whole. My experience with a number of my favourite films and tv shows have been improved by the ability to watch and listen to the end credits of a particular episode or film as I digest…

I think, alternatively, that she may be actually saying what she’s meaning here: The future stories in the Star Wars universe are not going to be pre-meditated. Instead, it’ll be much like the old EU - individual story ideas will be greenlighted into potential projects, and then the format, potential details, and/or…
Thank you, Shep, for your long amd great Deals-wizardry over the years. I’ve been reading Kinja since before io9 joined the Gizmodo/Gawker-verse, and I remember thinking: “What’s up with this Shep McAllister guy? Is he one of those weird Taboola ads?”

Whatever happened to “Lion King 1 1/2"?
I’d recommend Tor.com for a website with similar article output like old io9. It’s commenting system is not nearly as good or as peopled, but the articles remind me so much of what io9 used to be (lots of specualtive articles, book and adaptation news, themed posts, etc.).

Honestly, I think that Falcon, War Machine, and Scarlet Witch would be good as a triumvirate leadership for the team - Falcon as the on-field tactician, Rhodey as the logistical planner, and Scarlet Witch as the interpersonal glue and mid-action rallyer.

Far and away agreed. It often feels like old io9's soul got splintered when Gizmodo bought it - part of its identity sectioned off to Paleofuture and Gizmodo proper and some of the other former-Gawker sub-blogs.
Sure thing. I don’t know how much longer I can stay here, either, honestly. It hurts to see io9's focus keep getting narrower and more commercial with each passing week. I remember the days of “What Are You Working On?” and Puzzle Saturdays, and I miss them so much. This website used to be about more than just pop…
I’d recommend Tor.com for another place on the internet that has those insightful articles, posts from authors, thoughtful commentary, and just general positivity about nerd things that have made me love io9 so much.

An A24-produced Madame Webb film, then? Count me in!
Ooh; really? Well, that’s an advantage over... ...CBS All-Access, at least.
I don’t get why they don’t let people with a cable package get these Network-owned Streaming services for free (or at least low-cost)...
