I doubt it. When CR and Funimation split, I had to decide if I wanted both. Since my wife likes dubs, I kept both, but she wants to throw their app out the window as well. Read more

Add to that the fact that their queues suck rocks, their app on the Roku television has bugs galore and frequently will only play the dubbed version, even if you have the defaults set for Japanese, and don’t get me started on the hit or miss of subtitles working or not. Read more

Thanks for that answer. If I’m unfamiliar with a restaurant, I might ask what the server recommends. The main reason is because I try to treat my server like he or she is a professional, and I respect their insight. I will try to take their advice unless it is something that I absolutely can’t manage. Read more

Maybe there wasn’t something in the game that would allow that kind of act. But as for K and A, maybe they were focused on getting out of the game? They are both under 18 as well and rather sheltered socially, so maybe they weren’t wired to think that way. Maybe?

Thanks for this. I was only introduced to anime about a year ago. My first experience was the Harlock CG movie, but that interested me enough to try something else. That something was SAO, and I was hooked. Read more

I’m a guy, and I love both these shows for the reasons you noted. They aren’t anything resembling fast-paced, and I don’t miss the “how do I confess to this boy” tropes. Instead, they are relaxed and enjoyable, and the characters move the plot along. It’s amazing how fast 22 minutes can go by while still feeling like Read more

My wife and I are both huge K-On fans. It is so pleasant to watch; funny most of the time, sentimental at other times; and I agree how the music is perfectly aligned with the characters. Read more

I’m so glad that I’m not the only one who had problems with Classroom. The premise was interesting at first, and I was really interested in what they would do with the points concept and the external society they hinted about. Instead, they turned it into something rather dull and pointless (pardon the pun). I found Read more

Have to agree with you. This is the first DVD set I bought outright. Even though some of the characters may seem “typical”, in the end I cared about each one of them. And as I don’t want to give any spoilers away either, I was really moved emotionally a couple of times there in the final few episodes. Read more

Absolutely agree. YF is good. Blazing Saddles is great.

As much as I liked “Trials and Tribbleations”, I have to say that seeing my favorite Doctor in that episode made my day/week/year.

Absolutely love these articles. Makes me think that true fans with true sportsmanship still exist.

What an amazing article. The way they treated players back then was criminal.

Agree with the "back to the cars" comment. I love the once a series thing where they go somewhere (top choices for past episodes were Vietnam and Africa), but I do like the tests as well. Still, you can't beat them making amphibious vehicles, can you?

I'm not so sure it is done. I have to say that the ambulance episode was hilarious! One of my favorites! Read more

Sorry. I have watched Top Gear USA and Top Gear Australia, and neither can remotely compare to the Big Three. Clarkson's irreverence and over-the-top personality is what makes James and Richard watchable, too. I can't even imagine the show without Jeremy, nor do I want to.
