Why not make it a seasonal pvp mode like Overwatch does with their mini-games. That why the interest won’t be lost after time. They can even make it a seasonal tournament. That way by the end a winner is crowned champion (with perks for those whom are crowned) and the people who played will be hungry the next time the…
I think a combination would be great. Like Manage and simulate the season, but play the play-off and championship games. Or just make the game a pick-up minigame of pvp matches. Treat it like rocket league and have the players enter an arena mode.

Casting is def goinna make or break this..... funny thing is I was just thinking about a live action casting the other day. I thought Orlando Jones and Judy Greer would be perfect for Punch and Judy. It also pays homage to their Voice acting careers. The main cast is tough to nail down, but I don’t mind the Keanu idea.

Kurono had died, but had one of his teammates revive Kato as his last request before his death. Kato would then lead the group into this mission with the promise of bringing him back.
