Some of the worst jobs you’ll ever work will try to tell you that “You’ve gotta be tough to work here!” They’ll make you think you’re too weak if you feel like you have to quit for your mental health. This is very rarely true.
Okay, sorry for the lateness of my post. Took some time to go through all my favorites and whittle them down to what I thought was my best. Even though it was tough to get rid of some. One of these is my current phone background and one was my pc background until recently. So, without further ado
I think I hate this video. Strange choreography and rough editing makes watching this video a jarring experience. What may have been a nice juxtaposition of eastern/Indian imagery and dancing with this nice song is just thrown off by out of place men-moving-their-hands-in-an-awakward-way-at-their-hips dance.…
Peter Jackson just dropped a video “announcement” on his Facebook page to confirm something we first heard rumblings about three years ago: The director of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit trilogies will be bringing his skills to an upcoming episode of Doctor Who.
Today is my last day at work too- I’m leaving the much celebrated and (one of the) most popular TV shows on air right now because I don’t like my immediate bosses. I’m rul rul sad about it, but I’ve been listening to this playlist ALL DAY. Thanks man, I appreciate this!!
I honestly wish I would have known about eargasm. I mainly stayed on the O-deck, but had I known there was a place for just awesome music I would have ventured there as well...
Damn, I didn’t realize you were also caught in this. Good luck!
Thanks for the lovely playlist. Your positive attitude will serve you well as you move on to the next chapter of your life. Best of wishes and safe travels.
Ariel! I was always happy to see you listed on our Clashtalk members list, and your place there will stay secure. You were one of my favorite behind-the-scenes Gawker Media dudes; I appreciated your gentle ways. Thanks for your kind service, and for giving us the chance to say goodbye. xo

Aw, damnit. Now I’ve got tears welling up in my eyes. Damnit, damnit.
I’ll be around no matter what. You are more than a colleague to me, you’re a good friend.
Thanks man, that means a lot. I’m going to miss the Kinja Community so much. I hope all of you move on to great and fun adventures!
Thanks for all the music you’ve introduced me to through this blog - it will be missed, but not as much as you. I hope to see you around sometime in the future. Take care!
Because I work best in list form, I’ve decided to try and compile a list of who has left GM since these big public turnovers have been escalating. Who am I missing? I’ll add them in the list as you refresh my memory. (ETA: I’ve edited the title to make it more searchable since this may inevitably come up again in the…
Best of luck to you, followed you in the great twitterverse, and I want to extend a very sincere thanks for sharing your musical passions and Kinja knowledge with us.

Life is a thousand winding paths in a dark forest of possibilities. We never know where we’re truly headed. We may have a route in mind, only to find out that the road ends. But for every dead end we ram into, two more paths open up.
