With all these HD remakes of video games being made nowadays, I think it's time we do the reverse: make modern games look retro. I would love to play Halo on Nintendo 64, or a text based WoW, or Dark Souls 2 on SNES, or Uncharted 3 on an arcade machine!

Kotaku, you will always be my favorite site. Thanks for keeping it bullshit-free and independent! Through thick and thin, I'll keep on reading.

This is such great news! Sir Richard Attenborough was one of the main reasons that made Jurassic Park such a great film, similar to Sir Alec Guinness in Star Wars, he's the one that introduce to the world of the film with a face filled with wonder and whimsy.

Since seeing Honey I Shrunk The Kids when I was little, I always thought having a pet ant that digs for gold would be a badass pet.

These posters bring back bad memories of Star Trek Into Darkness' final act. I liked STID, but I thought the enterprise crash scene was excessive and could've been more intense if 10 minutes of it were cut. I hope Abrams does not indulge into much destruction with Episode VII.

After watching Fargo, I'm extremely excited for this. I hope they stick to a single storyline with a serious tone (a la Fargo and True Detective). The Shutter Island universe is so fascinating and I think it can translate very well to a long-form story with intersecting plot lines and film-noir spookiness.

Amazon is slowly making moves to dominate the Video Game industry as they did with the Book industry. Watch out for an Amazon console in 2017 where any game can be seamlessly streamed on Twitch!

See #6: If there is steam everywhere in the world then the movie has accurately depicted a post-apocalyptic world in urban decay. Especially if the white protagonist walks through the steam with a somber look on his face. Extra points if accompanied with noir voice-over.

The spontaneity of Vine is now gone. :( Now it's basically shorter Instagram video, which is exactly what I don't want.

The future of PC gaming a bright! I really hope these machines crush XBox One and PS4 graphics.

You're definitely right that AC should feel more like a game rather than a movie. I just hope they don't take it too far with massive amounts of superfluous RPG elements.

No Nutella. No Almond Butter. No limes. What next, no avocados? And then even worse... no bacon?!

Which makes me think: do people really care how AC missions are played anyway since all of the AC games feel on rails due to the strong narrative? Sometimes I think Ubisoft should just concede to the fact that AC is narrative adventure game (a la Uncharted) and just work on writing a more compelling story.

Ubisoft has been saying for years that AC was going to involve missions with different ways of completing them. However, in the finished product, it always boils down to either be extremely stealthy or just run-and-gun (or more accurately, run-and-knife). The game rewards extra points for taking the stealth route,

I want to work for Valve just to find out more about Ricochet 2.

It's official. Pokemons are real.

The Dark Knight on IMAX is a must. I wish they would re-release IMAX movies, because large-format film an experience that cannot be replicated at home.

Even Tim Howard couldn't save Brazil.

This game is turning into Hollywood movie proportions. Cue Hans Zimmer score.
