Nah, the ending we got was fine. You don't end such a fun film on a total down note. A great action movie makes the audience believe it could all end entirely catastrophic for two hours and then has the heroes manage the impossible and succeed. That's how you play it.

Rumor has it that his wife has forbidden him to kill Arya on pain of divorce.

Losing Ygritte actually hurt me more than Oberyn, and I still can't understand why. I suppose she was higher on my list of characters than I ever realized, but last night I honestly couldn't stop saying "Ygritte? Why her? Why'd she have to die?"

I didn't keep track of how many crows died, but they were dying constantly for the whole hour! So there are what, like 12 Men of the Night's Watch left alive?

The pace of this show has me worried that at least the first 8 episodes next season will be devoted to finding a way out of the train car.

"The iPhone Clay S revolutionizes the iPhone as you know it. Using a non-existent A7 chip, you're able to do little with phone itself. Until you realizes, this is what you life resolved around. Now, you're free, with me as your liberator." or something like that.
