There is something beyond just hipsters driving their 9 figure annual earnings.

Not one automaker has chosen to forgo their OEM solution in cars with Car Play and Android Auto, let alone completely delete the FM/AM antenna, so every point you made is irrelevant.
It's been reported for about a year now and we still see report about Apple and Google in-car tech filled with comments that make no sense.
Man, Toyota will really miss the curve on this one. I imagine most companies will have a single system that can be either Android or Apple. No need to buy your phone based on the type of car you drive. Once that misconception cleans itself up the option of Android or Apple will be a clear advantage over anything…
The smartest idea would be to future proof cars by putting in a simple and basic radio system that can easily accommodate phones and tables.
But then again, I don't want to listen to Taylor Swift or Rush Limbaugh on the way to work, so perhaps wanting a device that meets my listening needs isn't a "normal" response.
Complaining about something you don't have to use or even acknowledge the existence of is the epitome of being a luddite.
CarPlay, Android Auto, and MirrorLink are all effectively just 'apps' that run on the headunit, allowing it to mirror the phone screen. If you, an Android user, buy a car that has CarPlay, it'll still work fine. CarPlay obviously wouldn't work, but the rest of it will be the same.
This is a discussion about an Apple product on the internet. We will not tolerate your use of facts and logic in such a discussion. Please delete your post and go somewhere else.
It seems pretty clear that if a company such as Hyundai is offering both, that ANY car company could choose to do the same. They just aren't.
It's not like Hyundai of all manufacturers would be able to throw the most money/go against Apple to allow both options.
I'm pretty confident that anyone bad mouthing CarPlay hasn't used it.
Reading through the comments, it amazes me how many people jump to (incorrect) conclusions about CarPlay/Android Auto and already hate it before it's even out of the gate.
Breathe, this isn't mandatory or an Apple infotainment system. There are many vehicles which will be able to run both CarPlay and Android Auto. It's simply a suite for transmitting the the data from your phone to your car more elegantly.
I don't see an option for purple....
I seem to remember another major automotive manufacturer releasing a bespoke super car for around the same money just recently, and everyone LOVED to hate it....
$400,000. I'm about $395,000 short right now.
Thank for your expert opinion. Now tell what's the best phone on the market.
Companies tend to fall in love with their own stuff.
I think the point that Zenvo is trying to make is that they never made their supercar with the intention that anyone would actually try to do supercar things in it, so obviously it's not their fault that it failed.
Or... something.
If top gear is a better torture test then your own then you need a new QA department.
