Every company wants to control its market. That’s the point of a company. A monopoly requires sole ownership of a utility, or government collusion to destroy competition. Does Uber have this?
Uber driver tells Uber CEO that he lost $97,000 because of him, and he went bankrupt because of it. Driver started pointing fingers in the CEO’s face after he basically told him how to run his own business. I’m not sure the tone of the CEO was unwarranted.
On a serious note, ask them why their design became significantly busier than previous models, and how much pushback it got from their own design team.
