This just makes me want to play more Dragon Quest. It's a shame DQX didn't make it outside of Japan, though I wasn't sold on the online/MMORPG idea. For the moment I might just start a new game on DQIX, one of the few games I enjoyed to the point of grinding just to prolong the experience.

This happened in my country too not too long ago - and we used to have half-decent dubs, too. It seems that in some places people think that being a voice actor is an easy deal - then you see real voice actors, the range of tones and accents they can do, and it's simply fantastic.
