I know it’s only like a month away but man I am ready for this movie. Never doubted that Joaquin Phoenix would be great as the Joker, but getting to hear the laugh in this trailer really sealed the deal.

Love Soderbergh, but it took me a ridiculously long time to get around to watching High Flying Bird because it was on Netflix where I could theoretically watch it any time (and therefore never actually did). Since this one is getting a theatrical release, I’ll pay to see it opening weekend.

Definitely loving this show, and I laugh more at the interstitials than the sketches (except for maybe the Patti LaBelle one).

If there’s going to be a blue guy with a mohawk in a James Gunn movie I’m pretty sure it’ll be Michael Rooker.

I like it. I just finished reading Forever And A Day (the latest Fleming-estate authorized 007 novel) and even that so-so title felt more like old school Bond than the names of the last few films have.

I’m excited about a New Gods movie, I’m just surprised they aren’t starting with a Mister Miracle film and building to full on Kirby insanity over time. Superhero-escape-artist is a hell of a gimmick, and a story about Scott Free leaving Apokolips (with Barda’s help) and being pursued by Darkseid’s agents to Earth…

On the one hand, if you’d told me after the first episode that we’d get four seasons I would have been thrilled. On the other, I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters. I hope this was Galifianakis’ choice — the season so far has certainly been building towards a more stable, mature Chip, so it’s very possible…
