Congratulatudes my man!

I really need to work on making my jokes actually look like they are jokes

The literal kind of literal, I know it can be confusing when one word has two opposing meanings that are both completely valid

Steven Soderbergh is the closest post-80's cinema has come to having an Antonioni and it feels great to say that; the world is literally a better place because of Soderbergh's films.

Hold me, @disqus_7AOfmTpErb:disqus, I had never been truly aware of what this Aristotelian perfection of a human being was capable of until the first shot of THE GIRLFRiEND EXPERIENCE when I literally tried to thank Soderbergh through the screen I was viewing it on.

Alright you guys I'm going to have to break it to you that Steven Soderbergh's THE GIRLFRIEND EXPERIENCE is favorite film material. It isn't necessarily my favorite film (though it is an extremely easy 5-stars) but I would never be surprised if in time it became my favorite film and if I ever see someone say that it

And another one that I only now recognise are the objects and not the shapes: Mamaleek - Stars Begin to Fall

I love R Plus 7 (the album cover is what introduced me to the amazing Georges Schwizgebel) and the album Betrayed in the Octagon is a great listen. I can't stop listening to the recent single I Bite Through It

G-almanac you are really fuckin' cool. I'll always remember that time I saw you liked the coolest music in addition to the coolest films and I thought to myself "yeah". You should have a happier birthday than most, b

I'm glad you mentioned the opening of The Incident, that's one of my favorite scenes in anything

I love the Criterion cover, a shot from one of my favorite opening credits sequences in a film.

I watched CHE (just finished the second part, also 5stars), GONE GIRL with David Fincher's always entertaining commentary, JIGOKU for HoopTober (loved it), and RED DESERT (have seen many times, one of my favorite films).

<3

Oh man I wish I saw that in theaters more than twice; I can't wait to watch it at home at least three times in quick succession.

I hope I'm not too late but I give you a HIP-HOP-HAPPY-BIRTHDAY!!!

While I was just making a joke about the title of Resnais' penultimate film I definitely agree from what I've seen of his early work (a good example that comes to mind is the way dissolves are used in OUT OF SIGHT which just feels very Resnais in how it plays with interpretation and the passage of time).

Yeah, I'm working my way through Resnais as well
