mmm Smoke testing is only going to cover basic functionality. This would have been more relegated to the feature alpha and its possible that the ability didn’t exist when they ran it the first time.

With any form of art, the creator runs the risk of it being unprofitable or under-appreciated. Is this fair? No. Has it happened to artists and content creators throughout history? Definitely.

Hmm, while I’m sympathetic to your pain, I’m also not sure piracy is the ethical solution to the problem. In the meantime, I’m glad that you and those like you can experience some of the more historical achievements in gaming history. I also hope that if it completely disappears, there is a solution to your gripe. :)

That’s sort of noble and everything, but I feel like cracking older games for the sake of preservation should initially be a offered to the parent company for distribution before it is distributed otherwise.
