Anyone who thinks they can change their form instantly without pain and injury doesn't understand a thing about running. You work up slowly. You don't go from running 10 feet to running 10 miles overnight. Fixing your form WILL prevent injury and pain, but must be done gradually, just like when you first started…
Yeah, generic brand gasoline should not be on this list. The gasoline itself may come from the same source, but like the article said, the additives differ. It is the additives that matter. Most off-brand gas stations use additives that are far cheaper and far more likely to crud up your engine. I can't tell you the…
Well said, sir. Mac people are always touchy when their choice to buy a mac is challenged. I like to lay out logical reasons. I find that Mac people are grasping at straws when they try to logically defend their purchase, and it ALWAYS comes down to "I just like it better". You're paying more than if you would buy a…
I'll agree with you. I HATE the smell of cat litter. I also have a trash can with a lid.
Couple of options I see off the top of my head:
IP conflict? Make sure both computers are either set to configure IP automatically, or they have different static addresses. Another place this can can occur is in the router settings itself - most can allow you to specify a certain computer always be assigned the same IP address. Make sure it isn't giving both of…
Tea fanatic here. Although I certainly enjoy stove-boiled water and a teapot with loose-leaf tea (I can never go back to teabags), it's not easy to do that while at work in my cube. I endure a slight plastic taste for the convenience of an electric kettle, and I use a cup-shaped strainer that sits in my mug while my…
I've said it once and I'll say it again... Straw man argument... right in the title!
Going with a crippled OS because it doesn't need defragging doesn't make any sense whatsoever.
Perhaps a better slogan would be "Apple: Blissfully unaware."
Analogy fail.
Troll much?
My question is: since the "smart" cover (quotes intentional) appears to use magnets to hold itself on, can you unlock an iPad that doesn't have a smart cover if you have a couple magnets and wave them in the right places?
Did anyone here actually care to look up just how often women NEED abortions to save lives? Look it up, I dare you. You'll be speechless with how rarely it occurs.
Overhydration is only a problem for activities on the scale of a full marathon. Those last for so long that people who replenish only water during the run will find themselves too low on salt content. Other than that, you'd really have to try hard to overhydrate, and this article has made the extremely stupid mistake…
Basic physics fail. Its acceleration is constant (9.8m/s^s). Speed is 0 at the top of the flight path. However, there is nothing to counteract rotational momentum (spinning), and the ball will spin the same direction and speed for the entire flight.
File this in the "Duh!" category. A 4 year old would be able to tell you this.
I would say that walking/running as fast as you can handle (doesn't have to be that fast - certainly don't strain your injury, and listen to pain when it says to stop) will help your injury long-term, but that's just as generic a statement as "I have a lower body injury" so it may not be true in your case.
