RDJ was fired-slash-quit to go to rehab a season before Hayden joined Ally McBeal, that was just a connection some people made without actually checking the dates.  I heard someone said he filmed one or two episodes with her?  But his character was written off between seasons before Hayden was even hired.

I KNEW I thought I saw Korean, but when I rewound, all I saw was Japanese with a bubbly font?  I could be wrong.

Patrick appeared only to be a blatant red herring about fat people being strangled.  Seemed like a way to kill some time - reintroduce him just for him to do literally nothing, then disappear?  What a useful distraction.
