I had that problem before Brokeback Mountain, to be quite honest.

I haven't loved anything from her since To Venus and Back, and haven't liked anything at all after Scarlet's Walk, but this album is fantastic.  It's both a return to form in very intimate, lush sounds while also still growing as an artist - both things the past decade of her career have lacked, to me.

This album is wonderful.  Full, interesting and broad, and I love the supporting vocals.  Her best work since To Venus and Back.

Most laugh tracks are all or nothing affairs because jokes on shows that use them aren't so much jokes as "jokes" and the laughter "laughter."  That's why they feel so fake!  Damn quotation marks.
