There was this one random guy on the internet who decided that he had a juvi record including second degree murder that was sealed away. Except, you know, he didn't. They proved that.

they are spouting nonsense I have never even heard before. "He was in a gang! He had a long rap sheet! He was involved in a second degree murder case"

People are only criminals after they get their day in court and it's decided by a jury of their peers. Unfortunately, we'll never have that decision one way or another. So for the rest of history, he isn't "this criminal", he's just "a suspect who was killed by police".

you know what I find offensive? 18 year olds getting shot and prosecutors intentionally throwing the case

You've got a wonderful imagination.

There's no reason for you to be standing out in the middle of a field during a thunderstorm with a golf club. You're inviting a risk with no corresponding benefit whatsoever.

I took a look at it and I want to puke. Poor woman and her "Yes, Sir," as if she's some kind of stupid kid who just needs to be taught by the nice mr. policeman what her duties as a mother are. Grosssss

You know, I had this crazy thought.

No need to make this more complicated than it is. More like: Armed dickless chickenshit impotent racist fuck murders a black kid because he can.

I tend to get very uncomfortable with the "police are pigs" rhetoric. But I feel much, much more discomfort when I see video clips of young black and brown men who are beaten and tazed not for actively resisting, but after sitting quietly and being peacefully noncompliant. There was a video last week on Facebook of a

You tend to nitpick these stories because for you, semantic issues seem more important than the real problem of people of color—include teenagers— being gunned down in a use of excessive force and the cops get away with it. THIS—killing of POC is the real problem. Criminalizing their behavior, incarcerating them

If it means anything, as a white person, I totally understood your original comment and couldn't agree more. The way people are behaving in this thread is pretty telling. White people can dish it out, but they'll never take it! NEVER!!!

You're welcome.

As a full-time writer of romance novels, I can assure you that we do know what fisting is, and we also know that words sometimes have more than one meaning! Sometimes more than two, or three!

I would say that the tone doesn't matter. I know people who refer to others as "boy" who don't do that when they are talking to a black person because they know it can be taken the wrong way. It isn't that hard to not call a man boy.

Please don't try to understand. Trust me, you don't even want to try.

This settles it. When I get rich this is where my bodyguard is coming from.

"I'm not a bigot! I'm not bi-anything! That's fucking disgusting!"

Compared to Americans, The people who will find an excuse to yell and be miserable to everyone.
