I agree wholeheartedly about Laurel but can't seem to agree about Ray. Both shows don't know what they are doing with him.

THIS!!!! It's all talk and no action with Ray. I've yet to understand why he is doing whatever he is attempting to do.

This was timeline-wise supposed to take place between Arrow's 3x16 and 17 - according to Guggenheim, but it doesn't make sense.

The character was supposed to be Ted Kord but DC pulled the character last minute and they are now left with… whatever Ray is.

I felt like the episode was constructed to make Ray seem likeable and justify his spin-off but he just became even worse in my eyes. Renting out the entire restaurant for only 5 people? Dude, chill out for a moment with how much money you have.

"There’s a close-up shot of Rafael’s butt in this episode, so let’s all
raise a glass to director Edward Ornelas for thinking about what’s
really important."
That's why I love your reviews.

The National's 'Conversation 16' where Matt screams 'I was afraid I'd eat your brains 'cause I'm evil'. It'd be an awesome theme song for Blaine.

Meat Cute. I was laughing so hard at that!

iZombie is incredible!

I kinda want the season to end with Jane breaking up with Rafael and distancing herself from Michael and choosing herself, her family and the baby over everyone else and the last shot being #TeamJane.

I agree. It sounds a bit like Codes&Keys, but then there are a few songs like 'You Have Haunted Me' that sounds like the Transatlanticism/Plans era. I can't really put my finger on it.

Plans is a perfect album from start to finish.

Oh the second the idiot said ILY it was over. I was convinced that the break-up would happen this episode, but I think it's gonna happen probably right after Felicity gets attacked in the next episode (according to the PaleyFest promo). Can't wait!
I KNOW! RAY PALMER RUINED BRANDON ROUTH FOR ME! And I love the dude, I

Oh yeah, there was no mention of Felicity there and well Ray hasn't really joined him yet.
I just want them to break up and him to fly off to his own show.

MG said that they wanted to bring her back but there were too many storylines that they couldn't focus on it.
She shows up on the Season 2.5 comics though.

That's the whole thing about Ray tbh, it feels like he has his own show within the show and his plotlines feel out of place. They really should have tried to integrate him into the story in an organic way.

Technically he wasn't lying when he said she died on the boat. He just didn't specify which boat. And he seriously didn't know if she survived until she showed up as the Canary.

I think he gets his name Atom on Arrow for the fact that Oliver almost smashed his ass into atoms!

according to the EPs, Felicity and Thea will have something going on that keeps them from not interacting right now… which is absurd. JUST MAKE THEM TALK TO EACH OTHER.

Ray should have been the one going to her and apologizing. He didn't even tell her the suit was working?? What gives dude? And he blames her for lying about Oliver when she was doing so because it's not her secret to tell.
