Not to disrespect Katie, but I truly believe that this was the case. It's possible that when Melrose Place got canceled, the network basically told her that they had a new show coming and just placed her there. She was good in Supernatural but the rest, not so much. I read somewhere that they didn't even do a

this reminds me… Oliver still has no idea that Malcolm is alive! Only Thea and Moira knew that and Oliver still thinks Thea is safe, away from the city.
It's gonna be insane. And I'm all up for Thea turning dark.

I completely agree that they went in knowing that it was supposed to be an act but Oliver ended up telling how he really felt. He isn't that good of an actor, one in every 5 people on the show know that he is The Arrow.

I know, I know. I think Katie Cassidy has some sort of a bulletproof contract with the show that Laurel will be there no matter what (and she was cast first). With Roy… he was OK this episode. I like him in small doses.

There are a bunch of instagram photos around and Stephen, Emily, Katie, Colton, Paul Blackthorne (which makes me super happy because it means they don't kill Papa Lance) are all there - in addition to Barrowman. No Caity :( But I'm sure she'll be coming back as a recurring.

isn't it Starling City somewhere on the Bay Area on the West Coast though? Did they ever mention it?

i completely agree! if they don't get a technical award for that scene alone, i'm gonna be super pissed!

I was, but then they just ignored that fact that Laurel was also there with them, held by Random Henchman #5 and it became so much better.

I think it was their plan to have Felicity be left in the mansion so that a precious member of Team Arrow would be left alone and be the perfect bait, but then I think he came up with the whole 'he took the wrong woman because ILU' and that part she didn't know.

Can he announce now Caity Lotz as a regular, too?

He is currently at the CW Upfronts so I think he is still gonna be around!

He can do that whole scene where Ben is crying saying 'I'm gonna treat myself" (I just rewatched that episode for the billionth time yesterday before Arrow because why not) and then Felicity can be 'Uh oh, Batman's crying'

For Arrow, it has a couple of deleted scenes and one not-so-funny gag reel (though there is a hilarious bit when they are filming that sex scene between Oliver and Laurel last season that Stephen drops Katie on the floor) but there is a pretty amazing bit about how they structure the stunts and everything. And oh, it

Hi Fajen!

Same! I'm so glad I watched it with a friend and we discussed everything for at least an hour or so, but I definitely need meetings to help cope with everything until October and we start again.

I think you meant Donna Moss, but I'll also take Felicity being the Donna Meagle of the show… Now I want an episode next season where Oliver gets his company back and they have a 'Treat Yo Self' day

I am pretty sure that when that random cop lady called her a hero, it basically signed her death warrant on the show. She'd better start wearing a red shirt now.
