Yes, I had the 525e (European 528e) and loved it. It was not too slow and was a lovely quiet, refined, vehicle for long drives. As a bonus, it is, in my opinion, the best looking BMW shape with the gorgeous front end.

Reminds me of something that a Finnish girl told me when I first moved to Finland. She said Finns smile once in the morning to get it over with.

For sure, it must take a whole lot of manufactured indignation for somebody to go to Human Resources over a one-off incident like this.

Having cheaper materials in cheaper models emphasises the difference between lower priced models and more expensive ones.

I have used Sygic for years because it works perfectly offline.

Yeah, lounges have become part of my travel routine. Avoiding the traveling poor at airports is one of the things that makes having a bit of money worthwhile.

This isn’t just about marketing but about people. Give me a car that is sold as having a control system that allows me to drive for 30 seconds without hands on the wheel and that’s what’s going to happen. If the car is not safe to operate in that state then hands-off driving should not be possible.

Do you actually believe that stuff?

That’s because the events were poorly planned out and poorly executed. I am sure that the press conference yesterday was not part of the plan. There was some last minute reason for him having to ‘come back to life’ rather than move onto his new life.

More important: somebody else’s life.

No, it is not just ‘on them’ when there are passengers in cars, pedestrians and other cars on the road.

Tight jeans and a micropenis. Lovely. :/

Painted, for now,in primer

That’s primer. Primer is often red.

Some of these systems really do use some form of RFID - at least over here in Europe. I have been doing the drop any card in the slot thing for years, but sometimes, just sometimes, it won’t work without the hotel’s card.

Pity that they don’t know where they live, eh?

Right now these silly cars are being bought by planet savers and tree huggers for whom maths is something they choose to ignore. In order to reach the mass market, the sums do have to work out because once we get past the silly folks who will buy because of ‘feelz’ we get to the mass who will look at numbers.

I enjoyed when I was growing up! I’d love to see those episodes again.

The guy is not insane. Girard based his very lucrative business on the premise of being the ‘best’ salesman in the world. That’s a claim that he wants and needs to guard. Calling his lawyer was the right move!

The price you pay for your beverages and food in a coffee shop represents your ‘rent’ for your seat and any facilities on offer - even if you don’t use them all. The price you pay for your consumption is the only way that these places have to cover their costs and make a reasonable profit.
