Thanks for the info. I didn't realize they didn't allow concealed carry on bases (even in states that allow concealed carry). I always assumed that some people on the base would carry guns since I know that statistically military personal have higher rates of gun ownership.

For reasons we don't really know, Ambien does this to some people and not others. Your response to Ambien is not uncommon. It was really smart of you to stop taking it. Too many people think just because a drug is legal than it must be safe or fairly safe.

I totally agree with you, the problem is that Ambien is fairly easy to get from a doctor, and the doctor has no idea whether you own a gun. I don't think placing restrictions on guns *just* if you take Ambien can be realistically enforced.
