Actually, there are vegans who will eat things like oysters because they have no central nerve system and do not feel pain. I am not justifying this, I am merely reporting that it is not quite the same as a vegan eating a whopper with a side of chicken fries.

I know this does not answer the question, but reading this thread affirms my belief that we do not live in a society that ratifies the beliefs of free range parents. The most heartbreaking part of the comments is how frequently the authors seem to need to indicate that their clothing was not inappropriate.

Also, no man has to face a choice between artfully conveyed sass and being taken seriously. Sass is gendered.
