Interestingly enough, those creatures, and the whole city in fact—covered in curious graffiti—felt like a place we may need to come back to as it seemed ripe for exploration and analyzation.

I kind of admire the way Star Wars is not even trying to hide its Dune influences anymore. This would’ve never happened when Lucas (“I don’t actually read a lot of science fiction”) was in charge.

Peacock subscription is apparently free/included for people who have Comcast (me!) but I haven’t checked it out yet. Apparently they have the Harry Potter movies on there so once I finish the books we’ll check that out.

This is no surprise since NBC Universal doesn’t support genre programming. Which is ironic since they own a channel called ‘SyFy’ (which I think had the name changed back when they were showing mostly wrestling and very little sci-fi).

But this is what the show is. It's an episodic show, not a serial. More Xena than Breaking Bad.

I also love how the two desert peoples are obsessed with egg-shaped trophies.

I love how he’s basically Tatooine’s new Obi-Wan. Oops, I mean Ben.

The Mandalorian is the best pulp Western show that just happens to be in the Star Wars universe.

Who would have predicted that in 2020 we'd finally get a good Tremors sequel?
