I sort of recall that this is an alternate universe so their designs are similar albeit not the same. the designs for the “real” superheroes are closer to the source.

Couldn’t Agree more. Modern is one of the reasons I stopped playing. It stops them from printing good standard cards, and whenever a good reprint is made, its price skyrockets.No power creep, but lots of price creep.
