What an asshole.
I agree a canyon road would be better. But being on an empty turnpike and being able to stretch your legs for a 100 miles or so is always good too. I would get bored eventually just going straight. But there's something good about being able to cruise upwards of 80mph on a smooth road. Hell, that's a luxury in OK…
You keep stealing the blanket when you roll over? :-)
Do what with what because of what now?!?
If you have something nice to drive and you're driving on nice roads, then commuting that many miles each day can be a lot of fun. A friend of mine used to work in Tulsa but live in Oklahoma City. He drove his STi around 200 miles commute each day. And because of the hours he worked he got a fairly empty turnpike…
I know that Honda would never do it, and that I'm way too generous to ever be in charge of a company because ... if I was in charge at Honda, I would give this guy any Honda car he wanted. This is great publicity for their cars that with just basic care and servicing they can get to 1,000,000 miles. In fact if I was…
Maybe not to most people. But my wallet has been on the receiving end of too many of those death lights. Waiting for the self destruct to happen takes all the fun out of driving for me.
My 1991 Lexus LS400, before she died.
Wait? Reliability in a Saturn? You must have gotten the one good car they built. Every Saturn I ever saw or drove had more flashing lights on the dash than a Christmas display at Walmart.
God I so wanted one of those.
EXCELLENT!
Who wouldn't get naked and roll around in a pile of money if you had one? If I get rich I'm putting it all into a swimming pool as $100 bills and I'm diving in and swimming.
I hope he gets it back. But to be honest he probably won't as it is a collectors item now and the black market wouldn't care that it was stolen because they would own a one of a kind item.
I'd get the M3. Mainly because I live in the UK so servicing and parts costs would be cheaper. But if I lived in the USofA, then I would be seriously tempted by the Boss. There is just something about the Mustang that makes me want to jump in and take a road trip.
This reminds me of something that happened to me years ago.
Nice Price! I'll take it.
I would definitely like to see more episodes from these guys. This was a very well done introduction to the new M5 and told you more about it than any other article I've come across. It gives you a good impression of the car from a regular drivers point of view. It tells you that it's not only a nice comfortable long…
Oh yeah, they'll pry my steering wheel out of my cold dead hands... :-)
The traffic statement I was basing on all cars being auto-drive. I agree that having some auto and some human controlled wouldn't have any effect on traffic at all.
