Martin Short joining the cast of HIMYM as Marshal's new boss means that Dave Foley will not have a be returning. Hope Foley's new sitcom is worth it.

Well considering she is not in the movie an press is still more interested in talking about her than the movie she has the buzz. Hope she finds a good project.

Dear Ms. Smith,

hearting you for saying everything I feel on the subject so succinctly.

He is flattered.

It being right side up is logical as the removable belly stands in for the C-Section she will have to deal with the breached birth.

Now playing

Despite being born in the 1980s and done with Barbie by 2002 these seem really familiar to me. This video, however, has the most disturbing use of Barbies with removable/replaceable body parts ever

My father has a saying "nothing is as natural as the bubonic plague." Most of the time when he uses it he is deriding homeopathic remedies it is applicable here too. It does not matter if aggressive instincts towards assault are "natural" or not as sentient individuals in a society we have to respect the rights and

I tend to thing of the relationships between the two series as Dr. Who is the backdoor through which Torchwood got on the air at all. "Cyberwoman" an episode that does the most to link it up witht he Who universe/timeline is the weakest in the series IMO.

Putting your novel on my list.

Yuck. While I was deciding not to follow the series I could not help feeling like it would be better if we more or less knew who the killer was the whole time and was watching them try and build incontrovertible proof like on The Wire or the original Prime Suspect. Glad I skipped out.

I gave up on The Killing after 5 or six episodes. What happened?

I can't wait for Playboy empire disappear from the face of the earth. Heffner too.

Me too Zooey! I am so glad to hear you say that.

I hated it then too. Big reason why Rose is my least favorite of new Who companions.

It might. i don't really know if it is possible to portray glamor and sexism and not glamorize the sexism to some people. And while talking about the show we do get into a lot of, "For all the sexism of back then at least people were polite" types of arguments, which are sort of missing the point.

This Daily 10 would be better named "10 Plot Twists That Were the Opposite of Satisfying". (Although what I find unsatisfying about "Doomsday" and Rose Tyler was how much of her speech was "I had no life before I met the Doctor; and now that he is gone I am dead"- was that supposed to make me sympathetic to Rose?

I agree with both your statements, especially how bad and nonsensical the whole "Stolen Earth"/"Journey's End" plot was. It was really a big "look at all the spinoffs" shit storm. Donna gets the most unsatisfying end off of a all the companions in the new series, the possibility of a Doctor/Rose ship is treated

Because plenty of people can watch it an not be repulsed by the sexism. There was that story Christina Hendrix told about how people did not notice that Joan was raped because of the pretty dress. (The Pete and the aupair plot is another where I am not sure if the show's ambiguity does no favors to rape stories). I

Me too. There is something creepy about it.
