lol, great replies everyone!

Man, such a narrow view of the world. My friends and I are over 30 and we play fortnite. I stopped playing couple weeks ago since Monster Hunter Rise came out, but I still have a bunch of friends who play regularly.

Wait, so she should tweet this out of the “kindness” of her heart? While Epic would make a shitload of money?
I fail to see your argument. In fact, it’s awesome that she plays and wants to engage with the community.

Exactly what I do. Every now and then Google sends me surveys and that, after a month, amounts for like, half a battle pass, or a Welking Moon card.
Comparing with Honkai Impact, another Mihoyo game, Genshin is light-years ahead in terms of fairness and how (not) essential the gacha is.

I think it’s worth mentioning that the community is really active and there are A LOT of content creators that make a living with videos that spend on wishes for every banner released. Since those videos rank a good number of viewers, they can keep raking the amount each time.

Exactly. There’s no reason to get all the characters, specially because each one requires an insurmountable amount of resources. Even Abyss, a very late game mechanic, only requires 8 characters - and the support ones doesn’t even need to be lvl90. So as you said, pull for the characters you want, not everyone. I only

It’s a combination of lighting, modelling and concept art. Not to shit on the team behind the title, but seems (in my ignorant opinion) that those 3 factors were brought to life independently. The lighting doesn’t bring the best of the models, the models doesn’t bring the best of the concept art and the concept

A lot comes to mind. Can the hunts in Monster Hunter be considered a “boss”? Because if so, I would say Shagaru Magala from MHGU (Switch) is one of the most badass creatures I ever had the pleasure to hunt get my ass kicked.

If we are talking the first ever “FUCK!!” moment in (my) gaming history, I would say Dark

Nice to have Skyward Sword, but disappointed by the lack of effort in bringing this to a more polished state. The game looks quite dated. Since I didn’t play back in the Wii era, there’s no nostalgia factor to me.

I was very disappointed when I notice that Akihiko Yoshida wasn’t back to lead the character design. I was in love with all the 4 heroes as well as with a number of villians from the original game. But this instalment brought some weird looking faces and a clear disparity between concept art (game cover) and execution

Couldn’t agree more.

For me was Coco. Several moments. The old man disappearing in that hammock? Just remembering brings rain to my eyes. Coco and Miguel singing at the end? Holy moly man, that scene hits me hard every time.

Still impressed how they mimic 2D in 3D flawlessly. I’ve watched a bunch of stuff about them and how they do it, and also a bunch of GG footage. Still impressed.

Also the cultural aspect. Japan has a clear meaning for both buttons and to “force” a foreign way into them doesn’t sound very ideal to me.

Not really. They announced they are reworking the experience for new players, so expect some sort of campaign exclusive for new players that will get them started with the game. I’m sure I will create a new user to check it out myself.

Good announcements, expected price tag for the normal version. FF looks very promising, so Morales. But let’s be fair:
PlayStation Plus Collection is Sony’s answer to Game Pass”
The mentioned PS+ is light-years behind what Game Pass offers. That’s not really an answer to anything. It pales in comparison on every

That was not the point of my comment :) besides, I said “you may not be able”, meaning that there are still ways to buy it, it’s just not as convenient as it was. While on Game Pass, if a game leaves it, you can get it though the same platform (and discounted!).

You can always buy it, no?
I mean, if a series leaves netflix, then that’s it. You may not be able to watch it, legally. But if a game is leaving Game Pass and you want to play it, you can buy it (as a subscriber, you even have a discount). If you can’t get yourself to play it, or buy it, then, it’s pretty clear that

I agree. If this was only for money, Epic would have settled with Apple an exclusive deal, much like amazon prime. But no, they want to bring this to every single app in Apple’s app store. Regardless of the approach Epic took, if this pays out, a gigantic number of indie studios and developers would benefit from it.
