Manual wagon with sexy VR noises........MMmmm. This is an easy NP for me. But I have plenty of VW maintenance experience so I know what I’d be getting into.

My Mazda RX-8 has an aftermarket cat from HJS in Europe that makes Motorsport cats because the renesis has some insanely hot exhaust gases. I’ve logged up to 1750* on hard track-runs. Even at idle it doesn’t generally see below 1000*.
Those prices make the $500+ price that a used Mustang SVO outer marker light will command seem like a deal!
Beat me to it! I couldn’t help but to laugh at this coincidentally perfect article placement.
A silver AWD Ford Tempo was my first car. Mine had the maroon interior though. That car was so awful and so much shit would break on it that just seeing this photo of this car put me in a miserable mood.
Living on the US-Canada border, we get lots of Canadian radio stations and I can remember this song quite well from back in the day! In fact, I found I still know all the words to this.
My dad has owned a lot of cars. Some of the coolest/most intersting ones to me were (Photos are not the actual cars, but the actual look a color of each of them):
I thought there used to be comments there! I am annoyed by the lack of commenting to be honest. Reader interaction does a lot to attract regulars in my opinion, but its a double edge sword as you also get tons of awful people commenting too.
Great piece!
As an Oppo, I am quite grateful that you shared my Fiero and RX8 articles to the Front-Page (What us Oppos refer to Jalopnik as) back during the time that it was still allowed. From those shares, I have gotten hundreds of thousands of pageviews on my articles as well as some others. Through comments, e-mails and other…
I was pleased as well when he made that announcement. After the whole Deadspin debacle, I started spending a lot more time on other automotive sites looking for something that I could call ‘home’ if and when Jalopnik gets private-equity-managed into Oblivion.
If you’ll indulge me for a moment: after almost eight years, approximately 5 million Kinja posts and, thankfully, only one incarceration, today is my last day at Jalopnik.
I’ll only buy one of these if it comes with the tire-spikes, outriggers, and rocket-booster option.
That is an amazing story!
Is this the new Mustang?
My wife’s Highlander is at the end of its lease in July. She wants something a bit smaller, yet just as useful. The Regal Tour-X is on my short list of replacement vehicles. I just hope I’ll be able to find a CPO one when I’m ready to buy.
This.
This has been a big story here in the Buffalo area for over a week now and I still don’t understand where this doctor is coming from. I’m 39 years old and when I wrestled in high school back in the late 90's there were girls wrestling in this area with boys.
I woke up with this classic stuck in my head.
Thanks for this. I'm pretty sure I get fox sports on my fire TV (thanks Dad for having an insane cable package and login). This will help me get through the long, cold Formula-1-less winter.
