Most Venom stories have been pretty tame on the violence. The outlier being that one really weird one I read in the early 2000's that heavily ripped of The Thing. A PG-13 was what I expected from the beginning.

Honestly I’d rather watch good movies or so bad they’re good movies when I’m baked, neither of which the Underworld films fall into.

Oh c’mon, there’s only what, five to six separate continuties for the Toho films? And the continuity of the original golden age from 1954 to 1975 is only a little “they were making it up as they went along and didn’t care”.
