Awwwww I want a Draken!

So the F-15SE is limited in its “stealthiness”...by having to carry weapons inside. Just like the Super Hornet Advanced, F-35, F-22, F-117, B-2...

I think you mean “USAF brass”. The Navy keeps trying to buy more Rhinos and the civvies keep trying to deny them.

The Super Hornet was designed, purchased and built after the Boeing-McDonnell Douglas merger...

I remember when Israel first asked for the F-15SE and the administration denied them, so they ended up buying F-35s instead. How convenient.

Well, the Tu-142 does carry antiship missiles. Though, you’d figure if the Rhinos saw ASMs on the fuselage of the Bear, things would’ve been a bit more hair-trigger — Sidewinder lockup the entire escort, just in case.

That’s kind of the whole point of the Tu-142. The Tu-95 is the strategic bomber version, the Tu-142 is the maritime version. Analogous to the P-3, but bigger, faster, longer ranged, and meaner.

Separate “culturally unified governable units”? That sure sounds like you’re endorsing apartheid...

Huh. Kinda bizarre.

Have a day, big guy!

Well, it looks like Northrop Grumman will stay at least somewhat relevant in manned aircraft.

SDB

It very well could be a “futuristic standoff missile”, but it also looks exactly like a Small Diameter Bomb.

That’s not how the Chinese are responding, though. That would be one thing, but they’re claiming it’s Chinese waters, when they’re closer to other countries. That’s why nobody respects Chinese territorial claims.

Our money, their goods. We can do without goods. Can they do without money?

Well, then why is China building military airbases in international waters?

Shocker. William Diaz doesn’t like the US.

Exactly. It’s like sailing by an oil rig.
