Don’t talk shit about the Dreamcast controller.

But we still have awful Sonic games. We just don’t have the consoles. And the two main Sonic games on Dreamcast were dope, let it be known.

Yeah, but they helped keep blockbuster alive a little longer!

But there isn’t any commentary or personality injected into this specific video we’re talking about. The first paragraph of the post you’re responding to you told you this. If you watched the video you would know this. It’s literally just footage of the game being played, full screen, nothing else.

Thought this was going to be about Thumper...that awesome rhythm game we’d already have if it wasn’t for the fact it became a VR title and is now being held back in chains by the Morpheus.

What routine? I’m trying to help you. Don’t look it up. You personally wouldn’t be able to handle it. Sorry about your social problems.

Whatever you do, don’t look up Japan.

Literally everybody here just wants The Great Ace Attorney. Open up your eyes and we will open up our wallets.

Yeah! At the end of my post I was saying how I wish there was a spiritual sequel of sorts to Eidolon(and The Long Dark by association), and the trailers for Jalopy felt the closest to being that game, so I linked it at the end. I haven’t played it so I can’t confirm, but it seems to have that big world exploration

I agree wholeheartedly with this article. If you are of a similar mindset, make sure you play Eidolon. It seems to be a very direct inspiration to The Long Dark, but I found its map to be a little more interesting and magical. I still play it to this day and pray for a spiritual sequel of sorts. That new game Jalopy

There’s a lot wrong going on here. If a game has a Seal of Quality on it, and it is far from quality for objective and subjective reasons, it’s not a cherry picking. It’s showing you a blatant example of how little “quality” had to do with the seal. That’s my point. Just because you check the game to make sure it

The one thing I have to point out is that the NES Seal of Quality had absolutely nothing to do with checking for quality. It’s an old notion that’s been perpetuated for a long time by fans, and of course Nintendo wanted you to think it actually stood for quality. But then of course games like every single LJN release

As someone waiting eternally for a sequel to Eidolon that will never come, I await this excitedly as the next closest thing

Dear god that is way too much like This House Has People In It “Sonic”

For me it’s just the Kingdom Hearts combat. That never felt enjoyable to me. I’d rather spam menues in traditional FF ATB with gorgeous modern day visual system than run up to dudes and spam the action button, heal, then repeat. I do think I’m in the minority there...Kingdom Hearts fans are many.

Play games like Monument Valley, Year Walk, Device 6, Lara Croft Go, Progress to 100, etc. You’d be surprised at just how good and creative mobile gaming can be

It always seemed like such a major missed opportunity for him to not be flying through rings at the end when he goes to space to destroy the cartridge.

They’re not the same game. They have the same setup where you’re mostly immobile in one room awaiting what is most likely impending doom, but the mechanics surrounding that basic premise changed each time, and chronologically went from purely visual gameplay, to eventually pure audio based gameplay that you could play

I hope he does a Clash of Clans speedrun next!
