I’m an associate at a small-to-midsized law firm- 9 attorneys and 20 or so support staff. The attorneys get all of our state bar required continuing education paid for (15 hours/year), so long as its something that touches on our areas of practice. This is, as I understand it, fairly common even in small law

I’m not speaking to his personal net worth, but the value of his businesses and their assets.
“Forbes estimates the value of his commercial properties at US$1.3 billion, his residential properties at US$410 million and his club facilities at US$866 million, plus another US$940 million for properties he has less than a

There are already laws on the books calling for federal felony jailtime for immigrants who re-enter after being deported, btw.

He’s turned millions of dollars into billions of dollars, at least among his businesses. Yes, some of his businesses have failed and filed for bankruptcy protection, but that’s not uncommon or, necessarily, an indicator of his business prowess. Eight out of 10 new businesses startups fail within 18 months.

It’s only a nightmare if you’re a loser...and by loser I mean a Democrat, you know, because they lost.

How much of this is really all that bad? Term limits for Senators- assuming he can actually make any headway, there, is something many Americans support. Tax reform, depending on which way it goes, is likely sorely

Combat troops deployed has come, largely, by letting the world devolve into strife; unemployment rate is down, but workforce participation is also way down; GDP growth is up, but still way below what’s “normal,” uninsured rate is down, but cost of that insurance/price of deductibles is way up (is having insurance

I go the other way. I work until 5:30-6:30 PM, fight traffic, get home between 6:00-7:00, spend time with the family until kids are asleep by 9, I’m asleep by 10, then I’m up at 3:30, off to gym by 4:30, finish workout by 6:00, in the office before 7. So I have 3:30 to 6:30, or so, all to myself.

A. Who woulda thunk the Aussies do the Derby, but with more debauchery and, apparently, booze...
B. I’ve always associated Australia with attractive women. Not so much, now.

Dude, you should know by now that men are only allowed to acknowledge the attractiveness of a woman if she tells him to tell her she’s attractive, but only if he also adds one or more of: “strong” “smart” “powerful” “empowered” “brilliant” or some such.

10s of 1000s of the emails were deleted before the server was handed over to the FBI but, if the mail client on the laptop was running, the deleted emails were archived on the laptop- at least the ones involving Huma’s address, even if she sent/received them on other devices like her own laptop or smart phone.

This is

If she set up the default email client on the computer- Outlook if it’s a Windows machine, Mail for an OS machine- it would have connected to the Clinton Mail server and downloaded copies of every email Huma sent or received, even from other devices.

So those 10s of 1000s of emails which were deleted and not turned

And one reason the federal government, generally, and State Department, specifically, didn’t allow the use of private email for government business or even the use of private devices for government email.

No. The new President/former VP then nominates someone for his former post that is then confirmed by majority vote of both Houses of Congress.

It all has do with the expectation of privacy. If a reasonable person would expect, in a given location and circumstance, to have privacy, surreptitiously recording him is illegal. If you’ll notice, in many jurisdictions they now place signs up warning of the security cameras.

Waco? Sounds like Waco. Wouldn’t be indicative of other college towns in Texas.

She was charged with Minor in Possession and DWI. That’s pretty much the gambit, here. Just having an accident isn’t, in and of itself, reckless driving, and cops won’t normally charge it unless they actually see the reckless driving themselves.

As someone else mentioned, it’s an actual travesty that the U.S. (Jimmy Carter) banned recycling of spent fuel into new fuel. Would reduce waste material immensely and provide more fuel.

I don’t think Volvo explicitly makes its wagon for police purposes. Though that might not be a bad idea. Or a Mercedes wagon- heck, they already make them for ambulances.

Part of this has to be because one-bedroom apartments are typically built in cities, land in cities is a valuable commodity and far more expensive, while land in suburbia, where people want 3-car garages, is much more available and less expensive.

For the life of me, I can’t fathom why anyone would want to live in the

So, would you ask the banks to basically write off billions of dollars in foreclosed loans and give these houses to homeless people? If the end result of issuing a mortgage, homeowner defaults, and foreclosing on said mortgage, is writing off mortgage by giving the seized home to others for free, either home mortgage
