I love Rick and Morty...I also watched this reveal live at Pax East and thought it looked terrible...but I was open to being wrong...so, this article, adds to the my info and validates my leanings and saves me money...that’s the point.

My only tattoo is on my right ankle...it felt like he (the artist) was slicing my ankle with a scalpel...
Because there was a chance that Apple was going to say “those are now worthless HA HA HA”?
I love religion...you can’t work on Sabbath...makes elevators stop at every floor and leave the oven on from the night before...you can’t eat during daytime! Swaps to living at night!
Ok...so if you care, wait until the server is facing you to drop it in the jar...I literally cannot imagine being so fantastically stupid that this reasonable answer eludes the idiot who thought this needed to be emailed in.
Right but if this column answered logical question there wouldn’t be a column. I have yet to read one of these things (that I enjoy because they are so wonderfully nuts) where the answer wasn’t obvious to anyone not raised in a barn.
Indeed...other than touts in Kabukicho, Japan is pretty scam free...I was led around Kinkakuji by a lovely Japanese student studying English who was doing a free guide service as part of her program...other than wanting a picture with me there was never any hint of “give me money”.
Just a reminder. E3 is a marketing event where truth is rarely on stage. I don’t know whey the media even covers it. How many hundreds of examples do we need of games that don’t even remotely resemble what’s shown before people stop paying attention?
Toronto, as far as I know, isn’t scam heavy but I do travel a lot. My rules:
It’s eerie for me personally to listen to him...it’s a 1:1 similarity with my father who had Alzheimers...the “I don’t want much tv” is a 100% dead ringer...my father, of course, watched 10 hours of tv a day and yet was constantly claiming at meals that he should cancel it because he just never watched it...and you…
LOL - Right, me and my MBA and every financial publication out there are full of it but you’re right, they are losing 4 billion a year running an app. Google “Uber subsidizes rides” for some your level articles.
Uber is. They use venture capital money to subsidize both riders and drivers by a) offering low prices (riders) b) bumping up the revenue from the ride to pay drivers. Uber doesn’t actually get a cut of the $20, they actually toss in more money to the driver. To be profitable the ride should be $30 but Uber wants…
Do you have any idea of what a car costs? In my city it’s like 6K a year minimum...that’s insurance, gas, depreciation, maintanence etc...thats a short uber a day every day of the year...if you live anywhere near even vaguely decent public transport you are way better off with a taxi/transit combo than owning a car.
They subsidize every single ride to the tune of about 30%...this is to keep costs lower than cabs to gain market share so that LOL when self driving cars come in there is a built in user base who identify with UBER and don’t delete the app and instead install the app from a competitor. It would be the single dumbest…
Also, add stuff slowly. Way too many people decided that Monday is the day they change everything and get overwhelmed. You aren’t going to meal prep, go to the gym six times, wake up at 5am and and and and on your first week. My self improvement focuses on two things, daily calories and 4X weekly gym. That’s it. Two…
I think it depends...like I run a book club that meet at 3pm on a Sunday...we do so because it’s always quiet, we don’t screw up the dinner or lunch rush and we normally don’t rack up a big bill BUT there is zero chance of our seats being taken up by higher spending customers so we don’t feel bad about having a tea or…
As somebody who has been in these meetings...every said is almost certainly all lies...job cuts and lots of them are coming...if you work for SI start polishing that resume because your co-workers already are and it’s brutal out there in media.
I honestly don’t get it...I have enough trouble with my own life...worrying about how much she makes or doesn’t make isn’t even on my radar...I wouldn’t have even read this post if I didn’t have the flu and wasn’t bored out of my skull...people spend far too much time in other people’s business...
Autumn is fine until you hit peak colour (November)...Sept/Oct are good months to go.
So go in January...it’s quiet, Japanese winters in Tokyo/Kyoto/Osaka are mild...and it is very quiet.
